They also record sound generated from the internal speakers. You new flash iMac like mine, is no different. If you turned the sound/speakers down or off, it recorded no sound from the screen video. ![]() Yes you are correct, your old computer could record a new movie and new screen recording because it used the internal microphone as a sound source which picked up sound from the built in speakers, plus everything else in the near surroundings. ![]()
